Description

A delicious twist on traditional boiled eggs, infused with Cajun spices and served with a spicy garlic butter sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Place the eggs in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Once boiling, cover the pot and remove from heat. Let sit for 12 minutes.
  3. While the eggs are cooking, melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet, cooking until fragrant.
  5. Stir in the Cajun seasoning and salt, mixing well.
  6. After 12 minutes, transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool.
  7. Peel the eggs and cut them in half.
  8. Drizzle the spicy garlic butter sauce over the eggs and garnish with chopped parsley.

  • Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to taste.
  • For extra heat, add more red pepper flakes.
