Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 head of cabbage, chopped
  • 4 cups beef broth

  • 2 celery stalks, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in chopped onion and minced garlic; cook until onion is translucent.
  4. Add chopped cabbage, carrots, and celery; cook for about 5 minutes.
  5. Pour in beef broth and diced tomatoes; bring to a boil.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and thyme.
  7. Reduce heat and let simmer for 30 minutes.
