Description

A delicious and hearty cabbage boil recipe perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cabbage
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 6 cups of vegetable broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the diced potatoes and sliced carrots, stirring for a few minutes.
  4. Chop the cabbage into wedges and add to the pot.
  5. Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat and let simmer for 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or celery for extra flavor.
  • This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated.
