  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In the last 3 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the pasta pot.
  3. In a separate pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper to the garlic oil.
  5. Drain the pasta and broccoli, then return them to the pot.
  6. Pour the garlic oil over the pasta and broccoli, tossing to combine.
  7. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.

  • For a vegan option, omit the Parmesan cheese.
