Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf of brioche bread
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups of heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

  2. Tear the brioche bread into bite-sized pieces and place them in the prepared dish.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Pour this mixture evenly over the bread pieces.
  4. Press down on the bread gently to ensure all pieces are soaked.
  5. Cover with aluminum foil and let sit for at least 30 minutes or overnight in the refrigerator.
  6. Bake covered for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for another 15-20 minutes until the top is golden and puffed.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For a sugar-free alternative, consider using Stevia, Monk fruit, or Allulose. Avoid honey and maple syrup due to high sugar content.
