Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • Butter for greasing the baking dish
  • Powdered sugar for serving (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl.
  4. Layer the cubed French bread in the baking dish and sprinkle the blueberries on top.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread and blueberries, ensuring all the bread is soaked.
  6. Cover with foil and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  7. Bake covered for 30 minutes.
