Description

Delightful grilled apples infused with cinnamon and brown sugar, creating a warm and nostalgic dessert perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium apples (such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Caramel sauce (for drizzling)
  • Chopped nuts (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. Core each apple and make cuts in a star pattern, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  3. Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  4. Stuff the sugar mixture into the cuts of each apple.
  5. Place a small piece of butter on top of each apple.
  6. Wrap each apple in aluminum foil and place them on the grill.
  7. Grill for 15-20 minutes, until the apples are tender.
  8. Remove from the grill and drizzle with caramel sauce and chopped nuts before serving.

Notes

Choose firm, tart apples for the best results. Consider serving with vanilla ice cream for added indulgence.
