Description

Experience the vibrant flavors of Blackened Fish Tacos, featuring tender fish fillets with a smoky crust, crisp cabbage, and zesty sauces wrapped in warm tortillas.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Fish fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 8 Corn tortillas
  • 2 cups Shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 1 Chipotle in adobo
  • 2 tablespoons Lime juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Brush the fish fillets with olive oil and sprinkle with blackening seasoning.
  3. Cook the fish for 3-4 minutes on each side or until cooked through and flaky.
  4. Warm the corn tortillas in a separate skillet or directly on the grill.
  5. Assemble the tacos by placing the cooked fish on the tortillas, topping with shredded cabbage, and serving with the chipotle-lime sauce on the side.

Notes

For a spicier flavor, adjust cayenne pepper to taste. Fresh fish makes a significant difference in flavor.
