Ingredients

  • 200g beef (sliced)
  • 100g rice noodles
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Fresh herbs (basil, cilantro)
  • Bean sprouts
  • Chili flakes (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Soak the rice noodles in warm water for about 30 minutes until softened.
  2. In a pot, bring the beef broth to a boil.
  3. Add the sliced beef to the boiling broth and cook until tender.
  4. Stir in the soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar.
  5. Add the soaked noodles to the pot and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs, bean sprouts, and chili flakes.
