  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice to create the bang bang sauce.
  2. In another bowl, dip the shrimp in buttermilk, then coat with cornstarch, followed by panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Fry the shrimp until golden brown and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Drain on paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Toss the fried shrimp in the bang bang sauce until well coated.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra crunch, double coat the shrimp with cornstarch and panko.
  • Adjust the spiciness of the sauce by adding more or less sriracha.
