Description

A fun and adorable recipe for mini cheese balls shaped like baby chicks, perfect for parties or as a snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds (for beaks)
  • 1/4 cup black olives (for eyes)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  2. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to make it easier to shape.
  3. Once chilled, take small portions of the cheese mixture and roll them into balls.
  4. Using your fingers, shape the balls slightly to create a chick-like form.
  5. Press a sliced almond into each ball to create a beak.
  6. Use black olives to create eyes by cutting them into small pieces and placing them on the cheese balls.
  7. Garnish with chopped chives for added color and flavor.
  8. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
