- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 cup tomatillos, husked and chopped
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1-2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and minced
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Combine chopped tomatillos, red onion, and jalapeños in a mixing bowl.
- Scoop out the flesh of the avocados and add it to the bowl.
- Add chopped cilantro, lime juice, and salt.
- Mash the mixture gently with a fork until you achieve your desired consistency.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos.
