- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Knead the mixture until it forms a soft dough.
- Divide the dough into two equal parts and shape each into a round disc about 1/2 inch thick.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
- Cook each disc for about 5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the skillet and cut into quarters to serve.
Notes
- Serve warm with butter or your favorite toppings.
- Leftover farls can be stored in the refrigerator and reheated.
