Description

Crispy rolls filled with luscious apple pie filling and warm cinnamon, perfect for dessert or a snack.


Ingredients

  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1 can apple pie filling
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • Oil for frying
  • Whipped cream or ice cream (for serving, optional)


Instructions

  1. Combine the apple pie filling and cinnamon in a bowl.
  2. Place a spoonful of the filling on the edge of each tortilla.
  3. Roll the tortilla tightly around the filling.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the taquitos until golden brown on all sides.
  6. Remove from oil and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  7. Sprinkle sugar over taquitos while they are still warm.
  8. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.
