Ingredients

  • 2 sheets of puff pastry
  • 2 apples
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into strips.
  3. Slice the apples thinly and toss them with lemon juice, sugar, and cinnamon.
  4. Arrange the apple slices on the puff pastry strips, overlapping them slightly.
  5. Fold the bottom of the pastry strip up to cover the bottom of the apple slices.
  6. Roll the pastry strip to form a rose shape.
  7. Place the rose in a muffin tin and repeat with the remaining strips.
  8. Brush the tops with egg wash.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
