- 2 cups of apple cider
- 1 cup of milk (or non-dairy alternative)
- 2 chai tea bags
- 1 tablespoon of honey (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
- Whipped cream for topping (optional)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, heat the apple cider over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
- Add the chai tea bags and let steep for 5 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and stir in the milk and honey.
- Sprinkle in the cinnamon and nutmeg, stirring to combine.
- Heat the mixture until warm, but do not boil.
- Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream if desired.
Notes
- For a stronger chai flavor, let the tea bags steep longer.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey.
- This recipe can be made vegan by using a non-dairy milk.
