Description

A delightful pie that combines the rich flavors of apple butter and pumpkin, perfect for fall celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup apple butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 pre-made pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, apple butter, sugar, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
  3. Beat in the eggs until well combined.
  4. Stir in the evaporated milk until the mixture is smooth.
  5. Pour the filling into the pre-made pie crust.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for 40-50 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the pie cool before serving.
