Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink.
  3. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, egg noodles, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and half of the cheddar cheese. Mix well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
