Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Using a donut cutter, cut out donut shapes from the dough.
- Place the donuts in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching.
- Air fry for 5-6 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before glazing or dusting with powdered sugar.
Notes
- For a sweeter treat, add a glaze made from powdered sugar and milk.
- Experiment with different flavors by adding cocoa powder or nutmeg.
