Description

Learn how to make delicious and fluffy donuts in your air fryer in just a few minutes.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Using a donut cutter, cut out donut shapes from the dough.
  6. Place the donuts in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching.
  7. Air fry for 5-6 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before glazing or dusting with powdered sugar.

Notes

  • For a sweeter treat, add a glaze made from powdered sugar and milk.
  • Experiment with different flavors by adding cocoa powder or nutmeg.
  • Store leftover donuts in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
