Ingredients

- 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

- Taco shells
- Your choice of toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, salsa, etc.)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss the drained chickpeas with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Place the chickpeas in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until crispy.
- Fill taco shells with the crispy chickpeas and top with your choice of toppings. Serve immediately.
Notes
For the best texture, fill taco shells right before serving. If using dried chickpeas, soak them overnight for creamier results.
